Mothers and children aged 1 or younger (before its first steps)  are welcome. Let's get together to talk and enjoy childcare!

(2) Infant breast-feed consulting
Public health nurses, midwives,  and registered dietitians provide consulting service. Mothers who have anxieties on the first child up to one year old are encouraged to utilize the service.

(6) Counseling on speech impediment
Counseling on speech of baby such as delay in speech, impediment of utterance or voice is available by speech therapist.or clinical psychologist.

(7) Katatsumuri Class
This is the group class for parents and their children who have not been enrolled in a kindergarten or a nursery school and have been found problems at a medical checkup at three-year-old, such as delay in development and language or difficulty in adaptation to a group.

(8) Counseling on children with special needs
Psychiatrists (and pediatrician or psychologist in Miyoshi-machi) provide consulting services on anxieties about children's disabilities, delay in development, emotional disorder, etc.

(9) Counseling on fostering
Counseling is available on fostering of children who cannot be nurtured by parents for death, divorce, diseases, or abandon. If required, request child advisory board to take child in a protection facility.

Counseling and advice on children's education such as playing truant, misbehavior, abuse, and other problems are offered to the children and their guardians living in the two cities and one town. Each city or town provides several kinds of counseling in different way. You are advised to ask city or town office where you live. Fujimi-shi provides the following (A) ~ (H) counseling.
